One of the most important uses of date paste is for the cooking of cookies and pastries. Therefore, we have prepared a baking method for one of the delicious cakes prepared with walnuts and date paste.
300 g date paste
One and a quarter cups boiling water
One and a quarter cups butter or melted oil
One and a quarter cups sugar
One third teaspoon vanilla
Two and a half cups white flour
2 tea spoonful baking powder
2 cups chopped walnuts
Pour boiling water over the date and squeeze it well. Then, take the sugar, egg, and vanilla with a good mixer until it is completely concentrated.
Then, add butter or melted oil and stir a little. Pour the flour and baking powder that we have already sifted. Next, add the squeezed dates to the leaven and mix it with a gentle round. We continue this until the flour and date paste is mixed. Then faster the mixer a little bit until it becomes homogeneous and smooth. After a while, turn off the mixer and add a cup of walnut and mix well. The walnut should be crushed into small pieces and should not be grinded. Now, we pour the leaven in the mold cake that we have previously put in the greasy paper and pour a remaining cup of walnut on its surface. We put it in the middle of the oven, which was turned on 15 minutes ago, with a temperature of 175 ° C for one hour.
This is the only cake that the flour is mixed with mixer. After the cake becomes cool, remove it from the mold and cut and serve in whatever form we like.
